“The Soul is like a castle made entirely out of a diamond or of very clear crystal,
in which there are many rooms, just as in heaven there are many dwelling places.”

To all singers and artists of world music past, present, and future

St. Teresa of Ávila (1515-1582)

Teresa of Jesus was a Spanish mystic, contemplative, author,

theologian and reformer, amongst many

spiritual accomplishments.

She was a down-to-earth woman with a great sense of humor, who saw God in all creatures, and things, big and small, of our God.

She was a mystic who shared her spiritual experiences of

'Divine Love For Us All,' and the mystical union with God and others, through every day life and prayer, contemplation, and also miracles.

St. Teresa and St. John of The Cross were great spiritual friends who through God's great love, together helped transform our world.

Teresa was a woman of Jewish Converso heritage

 (forced conversions of the Jewish people) who at that time, was able to flourish artistically as a woman, and Carmelite nun, in the 16th Century, and during the challenging time of

the Spanish Inquisition.

Teresa stands as a beacon of light, to remind us of what is so needed in our world today.

Divine Love for Us All.

God save us from gloomy saints!”
― St. Theresa of Avila

"The important thing is not to think much but to love much;

and so do that which best stirs you to love."

― Teresa of Ávila

“May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom

to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.”

― Teresa of Ávila

"Let nothing upset you,

Let nothing frighten you,

All things are passing,

God never changes.

Patience obtains all things

Whoever has God lacks nothing;

God alone suffices."

~ St. Teresa of Avila
